He was blessed to have had the opportunity to facilitate the education of the fifth grade students at Critzer Elementary and Northwood Elementary. The eight years that he spent with his students were "Priceless." During his time in the classroom, Brian also served as the Technology Integration Specialist for the special education programs in Pulaski County. Brian currently serves on the Assistive Technology Priority Project and the Enhanced Scope and Sequence Priority Project.
Brian’s interests include the integration of assistive and instructional technology into regular education settings and educational approaches. He is also involved in facilitating technology support to school divisions by facilitating the development of AT Teams. Creating instructional resources for teachers in the areas of literacy and mathematics with a focus on the implementation of interactive whiteboards is also an area of interest for Brian.
Brian has his B.S. in interdisciplinary studies and a M.S. in elementary/middle education with concentrations in math and science from Old Dominion University. He also has his Administration and Supervision (PK-12) certification from Radford University.
Brian has two daughters. Sarah is in second grade and Hannah is in kindergarten. His wife, Stephanie, serves Pulaski County Public Schools as a second grade teacher.
