Helen is responsible for providing instructional supports for students and teachers in inclusive settings. Her most recent work involves work as the Lead Coach with the Content Literacy Continuum (CLC) through the VDOE State Improvement Grant Demonstration site schools as well as mentoring SIM potential Professional Developers and apprentices. She received her M.Ed. from Penn State University and is a SIM Professional Developer Leader and a past Trainer of the Year recipient from the University of Kansas Center for Research on Learning. Her past 29 years of experience include SIM Learning Strategies, Content Enhancement Routines, Collaborative Teaching and Instructional Coaching.
