Pam Lloyd is a Severe Disabilities Coordinator with TTAC at Virginia Tech. Ms. Lloyd began her career in education as a cello teacher at the University of Hartford’s Hartt School of Music. After receiving her Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and certification in teaching students with Learning Disabilities and Emotional/Behavioral Disorders, Ms. Lloyd became a founding teacher of New York City's LearningSpring Elementary School, a model school for students on the Autism Spectrum. She served as Head Teacher and Educational Director of this program before moving to Southwestern Virginia where she worked as a Special Education Teacher and Case Manager for Montgomery County Public Schools.
  
 Ms. Lloyd is committed to the integration of social, sensory, gross/fine motor, and classroom readiness skills into regular education settings and educational approaches. She is also a certified teacher of Preventing Academic Failure, an Orton-Gillingham based Literacy program.
  
 Ms Lloyd has a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in Psychology and Music, an M.Mus. from the Hartt School of Music , and a MAEd. in Curriculum and Instruction from Virginia Tech.
