Whitney Miller graduated from Radford University with a Master’s of Science in the area of High Incidence Disabilities, K-12. She has recently graduated from Virginia Tech with an Ed.S. degree in the area of administration and supervision.
Whitney is a Coordinator and a SIM Professional Developer for the VDOE T/TAC @ VT. She has eight years of experience working with and instructing students with disabilities in both elementary and secondary public school settings.
Whitney’s areas of expertise and interests include alternative assessments, research-validated instructional strategies, high incidence disabilities, multiple disabilities, intellectual disabilities, teacher collaboration, inclusion, IEP writing, and assistive technology.
