Visiting T/TAC

We welcome visitors to browse and check out materials from our library anytime between 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday. If you would like to explore assistive technology/augmentative communication devices, please schedule an appointment.

Directions

• Traveling from Interstate 81:

Take exit 118 B.

Take 460 West toward Blacksburg.

Travel on 460 West Bypass for several miles to the first traffic light and take a right onto Southgate Drive (toward the VT Sports Complex).

Take the second left (at the light) onto Spring Drive.

Take a right onto Washington Street.

At second stop sign, make a left onto Draper Road.

Make a right into the parking garage (parking rates apply) for Kent Square.
It is on the corner of Draper and Washington Street.

We are on the third floor. When you get off of the elevators, go to the
right and we are the last suite on the hallway.

• Traveling from the west on 460 East:

Make a left onto Southgate Drive (toward VT Sports Complex) and follow directions above.

Lodging

If you are traveling on state business, inquire about the availability of government lodging rates when you make your reservation.

Parking

The T/TAC at Virginia Tech is housed in Kent Square, which has an attached parking garage. If you would like to visit our facility and park in the garage, the following parking rates apply:

< 15 mins: free
16 mins - 1 hr: $0.50
1 - 1.5 hrs: $1.50
1.5 - 2 hrs: $2.00
2 - 2.5 hrs: $2.50
2.5 hrs and up: $3.00

 

You may also park in a 1 hour metered spot on the street near Kent Square.
