With over 20 years of experience in education, Julie Monday is a literacy coordinator with a passion for supporting both students and educators. Her background includes roles as a classroom teacher, co-educator across multiple grade levels (1st, 3rd, and 5th), reading specialist, and instructional coach. She has also served as a LETRS facilitator, dyslexia advisor, and 504 coordinator, gaining deep insight into the diverse needs of learners.
Julie’s professional focus centers on empowering educators through modeling, coaching, and providing targeted resources that support differentiated instruction. Her classroom experience and commitment to improving student outcomes inspired her to earn a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction, along with a Reading Specialist endorsement. Her growing interest in equity and inclusion in instructional practices—particularly for students with disabilities and English learners—motivated her to pursue a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction with a research emphasis in literacy.
